Sharleen Spiteri is not bad but would have prefered Keira (I wish). Really happy with it actually; just had to be brave enough to accept short hair could still be sexy!! I hope!!

Found your blog whilst perusing a young ladies update on her sons hydrocepahlus and shunt complications.
My wife and I also have been through the mill this year after our son was born 3 months premature and complication after complication lead to a shunt (twice) and five brain surgeries overall so far (and he is only 7 months corrected).
I find it reassuring within the internet community to read the stories of hope and bravery especially with your son. Also to let you know that you have strangers in the same boat as you..rooting for you and your family. I hope life continues as "normal" as possible. It looks like it from your updates I read. Wishing you a happy new year and all the best for 2009
